The cat’s out of the bag. Today’s Nokia event is going to see the launch of the Nokia Lumia 625.

If you see carefully, the Nokia logo set against the orange background that came alongside the mysterious invites to the BIG announcement is very similar to the device in the picture above. So this surely suggests that it is the Nokia Lumia 625 that is going to be unveiled today.

And as always, the Twitter leak king @evleaks brought us the renders exactly a few hours before the event! Also, the full specs have been released online showing off what we’ve suspected to be an entry-level smartphone.

On paper this seems like a really decent device for first-time smartphone buyers wanting a larger screen. You can crib about the lack of HD display, but this thing is presumably going to be pretty inexpensive. The phone is meant for prepaid plans and emerging markets, who want a smartphone that looks great, has a large display but also maintains a low price point.
